Grand Master YooJin Kim

Grand Master YooJin Kim, the head instructor,  is a well qualified instructor.
He is a nineth Dan Black Belt and also ranked as a Red and White Belt which is the highest honor and distinction (there are only 12 individuals in the entire world who have earned the Red/White statis). Grand Master Kim is a university graduate having recieved his Masters Degreee in Law and Economics. He was a captain in the Korean Army. At Fort Gordon Military Police School in 1965 he recieved 2 diplomas; one in Associcate Military Police Officers Career Course and one in Physical Security.
During his military career, Grand Master Kim taught his art to members of the South Korean Army for 17 years. He has also taught Taekwondo at the Military Police School in Korea, the US 8th Army Headquarters and the 4th US Missle Base.

In 1966 after 23 years of military service Grand Master Kim retired his Officers' commission in order to teach marital arts in the United States. In 1965 Grand Master Kim was the only martial art instructor in all of the United States eligible to bring a
team represnting the U.S. to the International World Competition in Japan. Having taught martial arts for only 18 months here in America his US team won 3rd place
at this World Championship event.

Grand Master Kim has been a Taekwondo champion numerous times. On the Korean Taekwondo Championship teams he competed in five different counrtires, including Korea, China, Phillipines, India, and Japan. He was many times champion
of all Korea, also World International Champion of all of Asia twice. Master Kim has studied Taekwondo for over seventy years, and presently works out at a minimum of two hours daily. Grand Master Kim is recognized as an International Taekwondo Association Umpire, and is head of the Korean Jee Do Kwan Association in the
United States. He officiates at all Jee Do Kwan promotionals and is eagerly sought
to referee and judge U.S. tournaments because of his knowledge and reputation
for absolute fairness.
Grand Master Kim now resides in Gwinnett County, GA., and is an advisor to all
of Kim Brothers Taekwondo Studios.
