Frequently Asked Questions
Q:How young do you teach children at your school? A: At Kim Brothers, the youngest age that we allow someone to start training with us is four (4) years old. We feel that at four (4), children have developed enough motor skills, coordination and their attention span is long enough to go though a complete class. Q: Why should I sign my child up with Kim Brothers? A: We specialize in developing children, physically and more importantly mentally. Mentally your child will show major improvements in confidence, self-esteem, discipline, attention span, better school grades, and much more… Q: Do I have to Spar? A: Although it is not mandatory, it is highly recommended and is a vital part of the students training. Sparring allows the student to practice self-defense in "Real Time". Q: How long does it take to get a black belt? A: Of course each student’s ability to progress varies. There are many factors that are involved in promoting an individual to black belt. Adults training regularly 2-3 times a week may reach black belt in as little as 3 years to 5 years. Q: When do new classes start ? A: New students can begin anytime.
